Holding two Director Identification Numbers (DIN) is not allowed under the Companies Act, 2013. As per Section 152 of the Act, an individual can hold only one DIN at a time. If you have unintentionally acquired two DINs, you should surrender one immediately. You can do this by submitting a DIN surrender application to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, along with the necessary documents and fees.
